  • Get Ready: A New Salesforce Certification Experience Launches July 21!

Launching July 21, 2025, via Trailhead Academy, a new streamlined and personalized Salesforce certification experience is on its way.
Currently, Trailblazers must navigate multiple platforms to access certification information. Starting this July, everything will be available in one centralized hub—making it easier to find exam details, register for exams, and manage certification records.
This new experience will consolidate all Salesforce-related certifications—including Tableau, MuleSoft, Slack, and Accredited Professional—into a single location, offering personalized exam recommendations and a 360-degree view of your certification progress.

Salesforce certification exams will soon be delivered via a new platform—Pearson VUE.
Details about the Pearson VUE testing process will be available starting July 21, 2025. As part of the enhanced certification experience, all certifications will transition to Trailhead Academy, and certification names will be standardized to ensure consistency across the entire Salesforce certification catalog.

What does this mean for your existing certifications?
If you don’t already have a Trailblazer Profile, you’ll need to create one to ensure your certifications appear within the new experience. Visit www.trailhead.com to set up your account. Your Trailhead Academy Account will be integrated into the new certification experience but is separate from your Trailblazer Profile, which acts as a resume of your Salesforce and Trailhead accomplishments.

Starting July 21, 2025, all Tableau certifications will be available through Trailhead Academy, along with other Salesforce certifications.
Unlike the previous Tableau testing experience, exams will now be delivered via the Pearson VUE platform—customized specifically for the Salesforce certification program. Additionally, the way you schedule, launch, and take your exams will be updated as part of this transition.

Get a first look at the new Salesforce certification experience.

After logging in through your Trailblazer profile, you’ll arrive at a personalized homepage showcasing your upcoming exams and classes.
To ensure your certifications appear in the new experience, log in to your Trailblazer profile, go to Settings, and check under Connected Accounts for your Webassessor email. If it’s missing, simply click Connect an Account to add it.

In the Certification tab, selecting any exam of interest will take you to a dedicated exam page—where you can explore details such as exam content, pricing, available languages, role and level, and any prerequisites.

Salesforce now offers a centralized hub where you can explore available certifications, prepare for exams, and schedule your test—all in one place.
As part of this updated certification experience, a new delivery methodology will launch, and pricing for select certifications will change beginning July 21, 2025. (See link below for updated pricing details.)

Salesforce is excited to bring you this enhanced certification experience on July 21, 2025, and will continue to share updates in the months ahead.
